The High Park Heritage
Renovating a century-old home in the High Park neighborhood comes with a unique set of challenges, particularly when updating outdated infrastructure to modern standards. The clients loved the historic charm of the facade but needed an open, contemporary living space for their growing family. We carefully underpinned the foundation to increase basement height and added a stunning, glass-clad rear extension that floods the home with natural light. By restoring original brickwork while seamlessly integrating ultra-modern smart home technology, we successfully bridged the gap between classic Toronto architecture and modern luxury living.
